If travelling is free, you will never see me again in the same place-goes a saying!!
All through my school, college and pre-marriage days,I so had aversion to travelling..Even now,I become travel sick often(but that does hamper me from travelling :p)..Post marriage, one of the few good changes(:p) that happened in me, is to gain that love to travel more…From then on there is no stopping!
I have visited only a handful of places,not even covered full south,but I have the love to travel across India and around the world some day :p..I know,I know,my dreams are too high!
So of all the places that I visited,I wish to share few top places,which might interest you,if you have not visited the place before..With no further talks,here you go with the details.
Best zoo visited till date?
No doubt..Bannerghatta..Saw tigers and lions in very close proximity..Can never put the experience in words!
Beautiful waterfalls?
Athirapally kerala-Wow is an understatement.. Pristine clear water and the streams around the falls itself takes you to an another world.
One temple that I always wished to visit and got fulfilled?
Murudeshwar!I always wanted to visit the majestic Siva surrounded by sea and the wish got fulfilled few years back.
Places that scared me a bit while travelling?
Chakleshpura–We were travelling through this route.. It was raining badly ,bumpy roads, no vehicle seen in vicinity and we were quite scared.
Also the forest routes from Horanadu to Sringeri.
The one place that I felt the nature in its pure form?
Cannot restrain to one but Thalacauvery and Munnar it is..Both had an excellent climate..Some time it would rain and the very next moment it would all stop and you will find no trace of rain!
Best food that I tasted during my tavel?
Bangalore VV puram..hands down..Who will say no to kodballe and holige?
The places where I was very close but missed visiting?
Nagerhole(reached the border but missed) and Melkot(temple).
Early morning beauty seen through eyes?
Misty gopuram of Sringeri and ofcourse the fishes in Tunga!
One of the unforgettable experiences?
On our way back from Tiruneli temple in Wayanad,we were travelling in forest routes and saw couple of elephants crossing very near to our car!
