Yay that time of the year has come!!!
You heard me right!!!A short summer holiday break is coming to an end and the school would be reopened for the brand new academic year by Apr!!!
Last week, I had gone to my son’s school to collect the books and notes! As always the count of books and notes keeps increasing every academic year!
The actual work for parents starts from here. .Forms and Proforma to be filled, photos to be submitted for identity card, bag/lunch box/bottles has to be renewed if the old one is not in good condition.
Above all some 40 plus books and notes have to be wrapped with brown sheets!
I always love the activity of wrapping the books , so this is also one of the reasons for my husband to not get involved in this activity!!!I normally avoid soft binding but prefer only wrapping in our good old brown sheets.
My mother says everything is an art including the book wrapping. The sheet has to be cut properly with utmost care, the ends should also be cut neatly, the folding has to be neat and it has to be glued well!
I learnt the art of wrapping from my mother .Yes it is an art! Still I have not reached a stage of being a perfectionist in wrapping the books but I keep trying every year to improvise myself!
Cutting, wrapping, pasting is so much fun and I am enjoining every bit of it! Still I have a good number of books and notes to wrap and so my weekend is all engaged now.
