I was one of the many, who never cared about the water intake! The new year dawned and I wanted to set few goals in which I lag so that I could improvise myself! One of the goals in my must list was to drink more water!!!It was a real challenge for me as I never had the urge to go to water dispensary to fill my bottle.
My husband has this habit of drinking a tumbler of water after brushing his teeth every day !I so wished to try it but the moment I tried to have water in empty stomach ,I started to gain a puking sensation and so I left it as is and did not try it any further!
I have also seen people who are in diet taking ample of water! Firstly water keeps them very hydrated, secondly it is so filling that they say and that helps them not to hog in any form of junks! That sounds interesting!
So here are the steps that I am taking to consume 2.5 liters of water to start with.
1.Invested in a good Milton thermo steel water bottle! Free from plastic and I fill hot or cold water as per my need. I mostly prefer hot water, as it is soothing and very good for digestion.
2.I always mostly fill by bottle only till half. This way I complete it fast and I also get the urge to walk till the water dispensary to fill my bottle!
3.I keep the water bottle pretty close to my laptop and so it is always in my vicinity.
4.I am not sure if it would work but going to try drinking water at regular intervals post my lunch to see, if I stop the urge to have junks Will keep you all posted!
With summer already set, it is highly essential that we are very well hydrated to beat the heat!So how do you ensure that you take adequate water while we are all engrossed in our work(the AC also does not makes us thirsty)!
