Women and financials!!


Well I never thought, I would write a post on this and here I am with one!


I read somewhere(forgot on the source) that a women is often not involved in the financials at home(apart from the groceries) and the sole authority on the financial decisions are made either by the father, brother, husband or the son!!!


I was thinking about it and felt how true that is!!! It is not that  women does not know how to handle financials but it is more on the stereotype  that is followed in the households .I know that the times are just changing and women tend to be the decision makers on their earnings now!!


I was not much into the financials until I read an article(will share source ,once I remember)…It was just an eye opener .I always never had the urge to check on the pay slip or the bank account or the trend of my spending anyday!!!But reading more on the financials ,I felt the awareness is pretty much needed for every woman!!!


While we earn ,we should also be aware of our spending, we do and enter into a saving plan which would definitely benefit us, as and when we need the same.


I still have a long way to go to understand the financials, but better late than never!!!Seeing the alarming way that I spend,I felt I definitely need to check on my spending and involve myself into a good form of saving!


So a generic question to you all.. How do you all keep yourself updated with the financials(I am generic here but what I mean is the yearly budget, how does it impact us,or any information that would be subjective to taxes).
